Last nights nationwide conference call amongst the University of Missouri-Rolla African American graduates was a huge success and a monumental moment for us. I am truly excited about the progress that is being made towards bringing my personal dreams and others to a reality. We are moving in the right direction and I have renewed surge of energy towards my business efforts. The emphasis of the group currently is three key areas – a magazine effort, real estate investments, and the real estate investment “pot”.

Although today was a long and draining today, it was a big day. I recieved very positive feedback regarding my magazine effort, The Pittman Ink, from Roger Macon, an accomplished Edward Jones Investment Representative. I approached Roger about being on the Board of Directors for The Pittman Inc. and also lending his investment experience and knowledge to the magazine. All of which he voiced support for. Having Edward Jones associated with the magazine and providing backing will give the magazine more credibility with its readers. Roger has been featured in the St. Louis American Newspaper and Black Enterprise and is an example of the kind of young African American professional I want to highlight with this magazine…..
