SuperBowl Events

Here’s a list of SuperBowl events happening in Detroit so far that I could easily post. There’s plenty of other things going on outside of this like the Winter Blast… If your going to be in the area let me know. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like my place downtown will be ready this week but I can point in the right direction to find accommodations that’s reasonable and not too far away from downtown Detroit. The weather has been really good in the upper 40s and 50s surprisingly!

Lincoln Presents: A Legendary Night: Magic Johnson is throwing this party along with Robert Porcher and Darryl B. Hazel. 7 p.m. Feb. 1 at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, 315 E. Dre Bly’s party: Detroit Lions cornerback Dre Bly is throwing a party with a guest list that includes Julius Peppers, a defensive end for the Carolina Panthers, and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. Party is open to women age 21 and older, and for men 25 and older. Cashmere Party: Sean “Diddy” Combs is expected to bring a gaggle of celebrities to this high-profile party. Actor and Flint native Terry Crews (“Everybody Hates Chris”), Chris Rock and Adam Sandler are slated to be at this party. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Feb. 3 at Elysium Lounge, 625 Shelby Ave., Detroit. $150 each advance; slightly higher at the door. There is a cash bar, and all proceeds go to Bettis’ nonprofit Bus Stops Here Foundation, which helps underprivileged children from inner cities.
