SuperBowl Events

Here’s a list of SuperBowl events happening in Detroit so far that I could easily post. There’s plenty of other things going on outside of this like the Winter Blast… If your going to be in the area let me know. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like my place downtown will be ready this week but I can point in the right direction to find accommodations that’s reasonable and not too far away from downtown Detroit. The weather has been really good in the upper 40s and 50s surprisingly!

Lincoln Presents: A Legendary Night: Magic Johnson is throwing this party along with Robert Porcher and Darryl B. Hazel. 7 p.m. Feb. 1 at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, 315 E. Dre Bly’s party: Detroit Lions cornerback Dre Bly is throwing a party with a guest list that includes Julius Peppers, a defensive end for the Carolina Panthers, and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. Party is open to women age 21 and older, and for men 25 and older. Unplugged Super Bowl Party: Friday Night Jam Session: Performances by Kanye West, the Fugees, John Legend and Slum Village. 8 p.m. Feb. 3 at Clutch Cargo’s, 65 E. Huron St., Pontiac. $45; $100 for VIP. Call (248) 333-2362.

Cashmere Party: Sean “Diddy” Combs is expected to bring a gaggle of celebrities to this high-profile party. Actor and Flint native Terry Crews (“Everybody Hates Chris”), Chris Rock and Adam Sandler are slated to be at this party. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Feb. 3 at Elysium Lounge, 625 Shelby Ave., Detroit. $150 each advance; slightly higher at the door. Detroit’s Main Event: Former Detroit Lion Larry Tharpe is throwing this party that has a guest list that includes old-school rapper Doug E. Myspace presents: Tommy Lee’s Super Bowl XL Party: This party will feature Tommy Lee of the M?tley Cr?e and DJ Aero playing a mix of analog bass, breakbeat and dirty electro house. Terrell Owens Super Bowl Party: The former Philadelphia Eagles receiver will be partying in Detroit. 8 p.m. Feb. 4 at Envy, 234 E. · Feb 2nd – Jerome Bettis Super Bowl-ing Extravaganza – Majestic’s Garden Bowl – 4120 Woodward Ave. – Detroit – 6-10 p.m. Tickets start at $25, and bowling is extra. There is a cash bar, and all proceeds go to Bettis’ nonprofit Bus Stops Here Foundation, which helps underprivileged children from inner cities.   1. Daammmm, that’s a lotta shit happening! But, common, P-ditty might throw the best parties, but Lil John is da party! I’d slap my new gril on, break out my new chalas and party it up with da “YEeEEEaAAAUhHHh!!!” monster! 🙂 And I know, cuz we’re tight!
