What’s On My Mind….

Well it’s been some time since I typed some thoughts out, drafted a powerful writing, or really shared some food for thought in my public journal so before laying down tonight I thought I’d spend some time just putting things out here for the public.

The Girl of My Dreams aka “The One…”

People have asked me on several occassions have I met the girl of my dreams or “the one” before. They are often surprised when I answer that “as a matter of fact, I have met her several times….”. She’s worn many faces and been called by different names but I’ve always known her when I felt her presence. For me, “the one” really isn’t a person at all, but rather a feeling that overcomes me that makes love to my soul, caresses my body, strengthens my heart, enhances my courage, calms my ship, and so on and so on…. When I experience the one there is no confusion, there is no uneasiness or uncertainty. Things feel as if they are as they should be….It’s an incredible feeling that I look forward to sticking with me some day rather than brief hopeful moments in time.

Year In Review – How time makes a difference or rather a difference is made with time….

Within the past year I:

  • Bought My First Home
  • Bought My First New Car
  • Survived A Cancer Scare (Lymphoma)
  • Had My First Ever Surgery (To Remove Enlarged Lymphnode)
  • Bought My First Christmas Tree
  • Ended A 4+ Year Relationship and Engagement (I apologize baby…)
  • Started My Own Corporation
  • Touched more lives than I could count
  • Been inspired by people on both sides of the world (*Much Love Dacia & Alma*)
  • Met some of Detroit’s and St. Louis nicest good hearted people (You all know who you are 😉 )
  • Well – I guess I’m going to stop here…my energy isn’t really high enough at this point to continue…

    News and Shout-Outs

New Pictures have been posted in the photo gallery. You go straight there by clicking here.

Congratulations to my twin brother for completing his first video game for Hi-Voltage Software, NBA In-side Drive (available on X-Box), which has officially passed certification by Microsoft and should be in stores everywhere on November 18th. The game will feature Shaq, a Laker of course, on the cover 🙂 Not many games actually make it to the shelves so this is really great. If you want to send Roosevelt a congratulations you can email him at rspittman3@cs.com.

Big shout out to Naretha for selling 3 Lexus vehicles in one day! Congrats & keep up the good work 🙂

    Matrix Revolutions

Well – I just got home from watching Matrix Revolutions and I’m just stunned…I need the DVD, right now. I was captivated and impressed I really must say. I’m sure I’ll have 4 views in probably by next week. 3 in the theater and 1 in IMAX….(exhale). I think it’s time I went ahead and picked up the video game too – I can’t hold back.

If you haven’t followed the Matrix thus far please purchase a ticket to watch Cat In the Hat so that more fanatics can get into those valuable Matrix seats this week. 🙂

    NBA Season

Well the NBA season is now underway and I’m really feeling what I see in my Lakers no doubt. I didn’t realize that we had picked up Bryan Russell which I think is one too many former Utah Jazz players but it’s still all good. I don’t really care for Horace Grant either – I just don’t feel he really buys us much out there on the floor but a bunch of whining – lol. Gary Payton has really moved up on my list of favorite players over the last two seasons after seeing him play in person and his performance tonight. Two players that I expect to see benched will be Kareem Rush and Pargo. I would prefer to see Rush gain experience somewhere else as his impact at the NBA level has been minimal at best and his defense is MIA. Pargo’s defense is suspect as well. With Fox and Kobe back in the lineup, things will be great. The Payton/Fisher combo up top is nice with Kobe, Malone, and Shaq to take care of everything else….

I’m also digging the new Tracy McGrady commercial sending a clear message to Lebron James and other “kids” coming from high school straight to the NBA – “Don’t worry – I’ll make sure they’ll get schooled every night” 🙂

I think Detroit should have picked up Carmello Anthony instead of the other guy but we’ll see how things pan out. Carmello seems like an added weapon while the other guy seems more like an added role player and not a go to scorer. I guess that fits more with the style of basketball played here in Detroit.

Thank God its time for another season of Inside the NBA!

Is anybody else getting more wrapped up in the ESPN series Players like I am???
